LANA'S CLOSET MISSION

It is my mission to provide high quality, unique baby items.  My goal is 100% customer satisfaction.  Please understand - I can only provide the item you desire if you communicate what you desire.  Before you place your order, please ask yourself the following questions:

• NAME - Is the name spelled correctly?
• STYLE - Did you specify the style you would like?
• First name only, First and Middle name, Initial with name overlay, or something unique that you do not see pictured. 
  
• FONT - Did you choose a font with upper and lower case letters?  Do you want multiple fonts?
  
• THREAD COLOR - Is the thread color pictured as desired? 
  
• Please be specific if you would like something different.
• FABRIC - Is the fabric number correct?
• MONOGRAM - Did you provide the correct monogram order?
• Please give the full name First Middle Last and the order you would like it stitched.  The standard will be FLM when not otherwise requested.
• IMAGE - Did you provide the theme name as well as the image number?
• Did you include the ship to address and gift tag message when an item is purchased as a gift?
• Did you allow enough time for the item to arrive with the standard 2 weeks turn around and 2 to 3 business days for shipping?

A flat $5.50 fee is charged for each order. An additional $1.25 is added for subsequent items. All items are shipped USPS First Class or Priority (depending on weight). Orders over $150.00 ship FREE.  Shipping charges are based on shipping inside of the US.

Items will arrive pressed, folded and tied with a ribbon and Lana's Closet gift tag. I am happy to ship to a gift recipient and write a brief message on the tag upon request. We use padded poly mailing envelopes that are water proof and will protect the items during shipment.

What is the TIMELINE for creation and shipping?

Please allow up to 10 business days from payment clearance and instruction receipt for custom created items to ship.  It is my intention to ship as soon as possible.  Please anticipate a full two week turn around time.

How LONG have you been in business?

I opened Lana's Closet June of 2006. I had been laid off after my maternity leave and wanted to become a WORK AT HOME - STAY AT HOME mom. I used the money I earned from selling my daughter's (Lana) previously loved baby items to purchase the supplies needed to open my business (thus the name Lana's Closet). 

What do you use for a BURP CLOTH base?

Effective October 1, 2008 - All burp cloths are made using Wholesale Direct Gerber 6-ply cloth diapers.  Because I purchase these directly from the supplier, the quality is better than I found at Wal-Mart and Target.  The weave is tighter (more like a fabric, less like gauze), softer and the quality is more consistent.

GPP (Gerber Premium 6-ply w/Absorbent Pad):

• 100% cotton woven gauze exterior with a polyester pad running down the middle
• 6 layers of thickness down the middle, 2 layers on the sides.  Middle strip is 4"
• Average size is 14" x 20"
  

DSQ (Gerber Premium 6-Ply Diaper Service Quality):

• 100% cotton woven gauze on all layers
• 6 layers of thickness down the middle, 4 layers on the sides.  Middle strip is 4"
• Average size is 14" x 20" 

Cost:
The cost difference is $1.00 extra per burp cloth for the DSQ.  Please contact me if you have any questions.

**Due to the increased thickness I will be unable to add flannel backing to the DSQ burp cloths.

How can these be CUSTOMIZED?

All orders are CUSTOM CREATED with your specifications. With over 160 fabric choices, 700+ embroidery images and 57 font choices - your creation possibilities are endless. Because there are so many possibilities, all items are created EXACTLY as requested.  It is impossible for me to read between the lines on order requests.  If you would like the item created as pictured - provide the name only.  If you would like it created to your request, that is when you add your font choice along with the name.  Initial with name overlay needs to be requested.  Monogram order needs to be specific.  Please provide as First Middle Last and the order you would like it stitched (e.g. FML, FLM).

What is your FREE GIFT SERVICE?

I will create the item per your request, write your personal message on the gift tag and ship directly to the gift recipient. Photo emailed upon request.  Due to size of the gift tag, a short message is necessary.  Messages that do not fit on the front of the card will be shortened. 

What are the PAYMENT options?

The SECURE shopping cart is set-up to accept ALL major credit cards, Paypal or money order. It is a secure and simple way to process payments using your bank account or credit card.

How do I CONTACT you?

Where do you get your IMAGES?

The images I use are collected from many digitizers (two are my favorites are Designs by JuJu and Golden Needle Embroidery). All items ordered are created by ME. Because I create everything myself I have the unique ability to change thread colors to match fabric choices or tweak images to match themes. This allows the YOU to truly CUSTOM ORDER items.

Replacement Policy

All items are created EXACTLY as requested.  If the item sent has been created in error, I will ship a replacement at my cost.  Because the items I ship are custom created, all sales are final.  I do not offer replacement items or repeat purchase discounts for buyers remorse.
